Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TrimyMac, the macOS disk cleaning application developed and distributed by TrimyMac ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using TrimyMac in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the application.

These Terms apply to all versions of TrimyMac, including the free tier and any Pro (Annual or Lifetime) license tier. Use of this website, trimymac.com, is also subject to these Terms.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use TrimyMac on Macs that you personally own or control. This license is for personal, non-commercial use only.

A single license — whether Free, Annual, or Lifetime — covers one individual user. You may install TrimyMac on multiple Macs that belong to you personally, subject to the per-seat activation limits associated with your license tier. You may not share your license key with other individuals, resell it, or use it to cover multiple users within a household or organization without purchasing additional licenses.

All rights not expressly granted here are reserved. TrimyMac and its associated software, design, and branding are the intellectual property of TrimyMac and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

Free Tier

TrimyMac is available at no cost with a free tier that provides up to 500 MB of disk cleanup in total. The free tier imposes no time limit — it does not expire, require registration, or degrade in any way over time. You may use the free tier indefinitely on any Mac you own.

The 500 MB cleanup cap is a total limit, remembered on that Mac, on how much data TrimyMac will delete without a Pro license. Files are still scanned and analyzed without restriction; only the deletion action is gated at 500 MB. To remove more than 500 MB in total, a Pro license is required.

Pro License — Annual Plan ($9.99/year)

The Annual Pro license grants you full, unrestricted use of TrimyMac for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. During this period, all cleanup limits are removed, and you receive access to all Pro features available in the version of TrimyMac current at the time and all updates released during your subscription term.

The Annual plan renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal link provided in your purchase confirmation email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you will not receive a prorated refund for unused months unless you are within the 7-day refund window described below.

Upon cancellation or non-renewal, your license reverts to the Free tier. Your data is not affected — TrimyMac only removes cleaning capabilities above the free-tier limit.

Pro License — Lifetime Plan ($24.99)

The Lifetime Pro license is a one-time purchase that grants you perpetual, unlimited use of TrimyMac for personal use. A Lifetime license covers all current features of TrimyMac at the time of purchase and all future versions of TrimyMac released during the natural commercial life of the product, at no additional cost.

A Lifetime license is tied to an individual user and is non-transferable. It may not be resold, gifted, or otherwise assigned to another person. In the event that TrimyMac is discontinued, we will provide at least ninety (90) days' notice, and Lifetime license holders will retain the right to continue using the last available version of the software indefinitely.

Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all Pro purchases — Annual and Lifetime. If you are unsatisfied with TrimyMac, contact us at [email protected] with your order number within 7 days of your original purchase date and we will issue a full refund.

Because TrimyMac is a digital product that unlocks unlimited cleanup immediately upon activation, refunds are intended for customers who find the software is not the right fit — not for one-time use. We reserve the right to decline refund requests where the Pro license has been used to perform substantial cleanup operations (for example, freeing large amounts of disk space), as the value of the software has already been delivered. Refund eligibility is assessed at our reasonable discretion.

Refund requests submitted after 7 days from the purchase date cannot be accommodated. For Annual renewals, refunds may be granted only if requested within 7 days of the renewal charge; we cannot issue refunds where more than 7 days have elapsed since renewal.

Refunds are processed through LemonSqueezy and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement depending on your bank or card issuer. Once a refund is issued, your Pro license key is permanently revoked and deactivated, and your installation reverts to the Free tier.

You agree not to use TrimyMac in any of the following ways:

Disclaimer of Warranties

TrimyMac is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that TrimyMac will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Disk cleaning software by its nature permanently deletes files. You are solely responsible for maintaining current backups of your data before using TrimyMac. We strongly recommend using Time Machine or another backup solution. We are not responsible for any data loss that results from using TrimyMac, whether such loss results from a bug, user error, or any other cause.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrimyMac and its developers, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business — arising out of or in connection with your use of TrimyMac, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of TrimyMac exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) $25 USD. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability — contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of TrimyMac shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to address your concern within 14 business days.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also provide notice via the TrimyMac application or the email address associated with your license, where applicable.

Your continued use of TrimyMac after any update to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using TrimyMac and, if applicable, cancel your subscription before the next billing date.
